FOREWORD BY THE CITY GRAND MASTER FOR THE 175TH ANNIVERSARY BOOKLET
It is a great honour and privilege as City Grand Master of the City of Londonderry Grand Orange Lodge to write this foreword for our 175th Anniversary Booklet.
This Anniversary year is a very special year which is being marked with a series of events, culminating in this years 319th “Battle of the Boyne” Celebrations which will be hosted by this City Grand Lodge in Londonderry on Monday 13th July 2009.
Much thought and planning has gone into this years programme of events, and I trust all who visit our historic city and attend any of the events organised, will take away with them, memories of an enjoyable experience.
A special word of thanks must go out to all Lodges and individual brethren, to numerous to mention, who supplied photographs and contributed articles for inclusion in this publication.

In conclusion, I, as City Grand Master, thank all of you who have taken the time to purchase and read this booklet and hope all have enjoyed reading through the booklet, which provides a brief insight to the history of our local Orange Lodges.
